KPLC Lists Areas Scheduled To experience Saturday Blackout: The power utility has issued a power outage notice to some of its customers set to experience power interruption on Saturday.

KPLC wrote,”Notice is hereby given under Rule 27 of the Electric Power Rules that the electricity supply will be interrupted as here under: (It is necessary to interrupt supply periodically to facilitate maintenance and upgrade of power lines to the network; to connect new customers or to replace power lines during construction, etc.).”

List Areas Include;

Parts of Bungoma County (8:00 am to 3:00 pm)

Listed Areas include; St. Teresa, Wananchi, Kwa Dinah, Lavington Est, St. Mary’s. St. Angela, Matisi Water Treatment, Matulo, Milo, Kuuywa, Khalumili, Ngwelo, Munyikana, Malaha Mkt, Bunjosi, Sirisia, Kituni, Malaha Kingdom Hosp & adjacent customers.

Parts of of Busia County (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Areas include; Larger Nambale DC and Lugulu areas;  Esalwa Sec, Rabuor Mkt, Sagam Hosp, Rawa ACK, Mindhine Poly, Omindo Pri, Gongo Health Centre, Migosi Pri, Madende, Namahindi, Mungatsi & adjacent customers.
