Questions Raised as Uhuru speaks of ‘traitors’ in government: Speaking at the Episcopal ordination of Auxiliary Bishops Simon Peter Kamomoe and Wallace Nganga, Former president Uhuru Kenyatta warned religious leaders of Traitors that are in government.
The Episcopal Ordination is a momentous occasion in the Catholic Church and signifies the selection of bishops who will support the diocesan bishop in his pastoral responsibilities. This event holds immense significance for the Catholic community as it represents the perpetuity and transfer of leadership within the Church.
Uhuru stated,” Mambo inaendelea kua ngumu na saa ingine mtu hupotea, na akipotea anatafuta pastor….We have taken leadership to think it means lording over everyone else, it is not.”
Without calling them out by names, Uhuru Kenyatta likened The ‘ traitors’ to Judas who took money but later on Killed himself.
He added,” Tumeskia mambo ya wasaliti. Usaliti ni mwingi sana; lakini kwa wasaliti tunawaambia hata Judas alisaliti Yesu lakini hizo hela pesa aliziwacha na akaenda akatafuta kamba akajinyonga.”
