Driver Flees After Running Over Politician’s Daughter: An SUV driver is at large after reportedly hitting a pedestrian at Thika Road along Lumumba Drive, Nairobi County on Saturday Evening.
The victim was later identified as a daughter to a Kirinyaga Member of the County Assembly (MCA) who has since issued a statement to the police and the general public to help trace the driver.
MCA Njeri Mwaniki decried that she almost lost her daughter in the incident and the search for the driver should start immediately.
She stated,”You knocked down my daughter almost killing her, you will know that there is law in this country. If you are wise just reveal yourself before the law catches up with you.”
Reportedly, A good samaritan who has since been identified as Dennis was on the scene of the accident and helped save the victim.
He was not only able to identify the vehicle but also rushed the young lady to the hospital where she is currently receiving treatment.
