Driver Plunges Bus Full of Passengers Into a River While Escaping NTSA Officials: According to reports, NTSA Officials were in their country wide crackdown of rogue drivers and unroadworthy vehicles.
The minibus driver decided to use untarmacked road after NTSA officials were detected in Salama along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.
However, it was the end of the road for the driver who was carrying 46 passengers after he lost control and plunged the vehicle into a river.
Seven people sustained injuries following the accident and were immediately rushed to Sultan Hamud Hospital. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported
Notably, the driver of the minibus was arrested and is expected to be arraigned in court Today.
