Police Officer Among Fatalities in Grisly Accident Along Marsabit- Moyale Highway: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a police officer on Saturday along the Marsabit-Moyale Highway.
According to witnesses, the vehicle veered off the highway and rolled multiple times before coming to a stop in a nearby thicket in the Kambi Nyoka area.
In the tragic incident that happened at dawn, seven other passengers among them three police officers, who got seriously injured and were rushed to nearby health facility.
The photos from the scene that have made rounds on social media indicate that the police van severely damaged, with shattered glass scattered across the accident scene.
An investigation has been launched on the cause of accident even as Kenyans decry the high rate of Road Carnage.
