KDF Chief General Francis Ogolla Confirmed Dead in a plane Crash
KDF) officers have been involved in a chopper accident while on a tour in West Pokot County. Preliminary reports indicated that the Kenya Airforce chopper which crashed on April 18, 2024, in the Cheptulel area of West Pokot County while it was taking off
According to reports, the plane had 9 people on board. The area has since been cordoned off as rescue missions have been launched.
Police reports indicated that five occupants died in the crash while three survived.
Photos circulating online showed the debris of the chopper on fire while others showed the chopper captured moments before it took off.
The cause of the accident had not yet been established by the time of publishing this article.
