Boat Ferrying Church Members Has Just Capsized in Lake Baringo: A tragic incident has just happened at Lake Baringo this afternoon.
According to reports, The ill- fated boat was transporting Church members from Kampi Samaki to Kokwa Island
According to the Sabalani area chief,grace kiseku, 6 people have been confirmed dead and rescue missions are still ongoing.
She stated,” It’s sad to report that I received a phone call from village elder Wilson lemukut that one boat carrying 17 people who were crossing from salabani to kokwa island for church service subsided ,12 people were rescued, five are feared dead in water, and one person died few minutes after rescued.“
