155 Confirmed Dead in a landslide TragedySpeaking on Thursday, Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa confirmed that approximately 155 people have perished because of the Heavy Rains causing floods and Land Slides.
The prime minister informed parliament that about 200,000 people had been affected by the heavy rains and Floods that are causing havoc.
Notably, he revealed that there had been significant damage in several parts of the country, with homes, infrastructure and crops completely destroyed.
