Former IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati Has Been Hospitalized.

Former IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati Has Been Hospitalized: The ex Chairperson is said to have been admitted in Nairobi Hospital for weeks.

However, on Thursday 25th April 2024, Chekubati was moved from Nairobi Hospital to Aga Khan University Hospital.

The ex-IEBC chair is said to be suffering from an unknown illness, which at the moment has not been made public.

This revelation comes days after the Ex Chairperson missed out from the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) list for the position of the Judge of the Court of Appeal.

The vacant position for the job was announced on 13 October 2023, where Chebukati is said to have applied for the Vacancy

However, a few days ago, a notice from JSC indicated that former IEBC chair Issack Hassan Ahmed had been chosen instead.
