Lorry Full of Passengers swept away at Muswii River

Lorry Full of Passengers swept away at Muswii River: Over ten people have been swept away by floods while attempting to cross a flooded Muswii River in Makueni County.

The tragic incident occurred after the lorry which they were on, attempted to cross the flooded river only for it to get swept away.

In the video that has made rounds on Social media, the lorry could be seen stuck inside the flooded waters in the centre of the river.

The clip of the lorry crossing the flooded river on the shallow end captured a group of individuals of more than ten in number seated on top of it

Following the incident, the victims could be captured attempting to brave the waters but were overwhelmed and swept away.

In the middle of attempting to cross the river, the lorry accidentally slid into the deep end of the ill- fated river.
