‘Mimi Sitishwi…’ CS Linturi stern Warning amid impeachment bid: Speaking at a fundraiser in Central Imenti, Meru on Sunday,Linturi highlighted that he knows his work as a Cabinet and he does not need anyone pitying him.
He stated,” So nyinyi musinihurumie mimi, sitaki wale wananiandikia message oh pole. Pole nini. Mimi niko kwa serikali na Rais anajua ile kazi nafanya sasa unafikiria mimi mtu wakutishwa…”
Linturi turned to the holy book, particularly Jeremiah 2:18-19 where he underscored that he hell comes from above.
This comes after 110 legislators, backed Wamboka’s notice of impeachment where he asked the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula to hasten and approve his motion
Wamboka stated,”The motion is rooted in grave allegations of gross misconduct, violation of constitutional provisions and serious breach of public trust. The evidence presented before the assembly paints a distressing picture of negligence, mismanagement and potential of criminal activities within the ministry,”
“I firmly believe that the gravity of this allegations demand swift and decisive action. As elected representatives it’s our duty to hold public officers accountable and to safeguard the interests of the people that we serve. Agriculture is such a key sector, we want to tell the President, please don’t allow one rogue minister to derail your agenda of attaining food security in the country.”
