Eric Omondi Builds an Ark Days after Viral Video Rescuing Flood Victims using A Boat: In a video shared online, the comedian revealed the ark that is currently under construction.
In the video that has now made rounds online, Eric is working hand in hand with a dedicated team of carpenters that have seen the ark nearing its completion
The words ‘Sisi Kwa Sisi’ adorn the ark, pointing at unity and collective action. He promised that his initiative would provide aid to flood victims.
Eric wrote,”The weather department says it’s about to get worse!!! But Kenyans are clearly alone. The government clearly doesn’t care or seems to have any plan. Dead bodies are recovered from rivers while citizens are victim-shamed. Sisi Kwa Sisi has a plan!!! We will be in the gap!!! This sisi kwa sisi motorized ark will reach victims in the most remote areas of Kenya to save lives and deliver food, clothing and medicines.”
This comes days after Eric launched a boat to help rescue Nairobi residents trapped by floods in Mathare areas.
In a very touching video, He rowed to the people trapped on their roofs, lowered them down, and brought them to safe grounds.
