Deaths Reported as PSV Carrying 45 Passengers Overturns along Mombasa Road: A public service Vehicle carrying 46 passengers has been involved in a tragic road accident after it overturned in a notorious blackspot at Mombasa Road on Wednesday, May 15. 

The accident happened in the Sultan Hamud area, days after another accident that happened in the same spot, claimed Several lives.

A report from Mukaa Sub County Police Commander Barnabas Ngeno confirmed that one person, who is believed to be tout, died on the spot.

Several people were injured and rushed to hospital where they received treatment.

The matatu at the time was plying at the Kyambeke-Sultan Hamud route in Makueni County heading to the capital through the Mombasa Highway.
