Senior KPA Worker Attacked, Face Burnt With Acid; Police Have Launched an investigation into an incident in which an employee with Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) was attacked with an acid in Likoni, Mombasa.
In the Wednesday Night incident, The employee was left with serious burns however The motive of the attack is yet to be known
The victim narrated that he had left work and crossed to Likoni before taking a motorcycle to his home in the Almirage area at about 9 pm.
However, On the way, he noticed a motorbike carrying two other men, following them. In a second, the motorcycle overtook them, ot was then that one of them poured a chemical on his face from close range.
He was burnt in the face and later rushed to Shelly Beach Hospital before being transferred to Aga Khan in Mombasa.
Police said they are yet to know who the attackers were and the motive of the same.
A man hunt on the two has been launched, coast police boss George Sedah said
