Autopsy Reveals Main Cause of Reggae Star Njambi Koikai’s Father’s Death: A post mortem conducted on the body of Daniel Koikai, the father of deceased reggae star Njambi Koikai, has revealed that he passed away due to excessive bleeding.
According to the Government pathologist Grace Mirigo the autopsy was conducted on Tuesday, June 18, at the Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home.
The results revealed that Daniel Koikai allegedly died as a result of excessive bleeding caused by two deep cuts to his neck, which were reportedly self-inflicted.
Notably, The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers from Ruiru revealed details of a text message Daniel Koikai sent to Njambi’s sister moments before he passed away.
“Am sorry, It had to come to this,” read the text. His body was discovered at his apartment in Tatu City, Ruiru on June 14.
When his body was discovered, the deceased was found holding a kitchen knife in his right hand with detectives concluding the weapon might have been the one he used to end his life.
His tragic death came hours after he paid tribute to Njambi, apologising and asking for her forgiveness.
“Dear Njambi my daughter, the time has come for me to atone for my acts of omission or commission on your final journey from this world it has been one of the most difficult episodes in my life,” Njambi’s father eulogised.
