Pathologist Johansen Oduor Reveals Main Cause of Magistrate Kivuti’s Death
Pathologist Johansen Oduor reveals that Chief Magistrate Monica Kivuti passed away due to excessive bleeding caused by five gunshot wounds.
The autopsy conducted on the magistrate’s body at the Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi revealed that the gunshots emanated from a gun believed to be a pistol, and which was used by the OCS.
Oduor further revealed that the most affected area of the magistrate’s body was the pelvic bone.
Similarly, government pathologist Grace Midigo conducted an autopsy on the body of the OCS accused of shooting and killing, Magistrate Kivuti, which had been preserved at the Chiromo Mortuary.
According to Midigo, the OCS allegedly succumbed to one gunshot wound on the head was fired from a distance and emanated from a low-calibre weapon.
Meanwhile, according to detectives, before the incident, the killer cop left Londiani police station armed with a Jericho pistol and five rounds of ammunition.
Following the completion of the autopsy, the families of the deceased will be allowed to access the bodies of their loved ones for burial.
Kivuti was shot in her courtroom last week on Thursday by a Londiani officer commanding Londiani Police Station (OCS after she revoked the bail granted to his partner.
Briefly, after shooting the magistrate, the OCS was also neutralised by one officer who was manning the courtroom
