President Ruto Finally Breaks Silence Ahead of Tuesday Planned Protests: Speaking at a church service in AIC Nyahururu today, The head of state lauded the efforts exhibited by the Gen Z in political liberation and their right to protest.
He therefore highlighted that he will hold a conversation with them, to look at the raised issued and see how fit to address them.
He stated,”Our young people have stepped forward to engage on the affairs of their country. They’ve done their democratic duty, to stand&be recognized,”
I’m proud of them. We’ll have a conversation with you to identify your issues & work together as a nation,” he added.
According to the President, the government had allocated Ksh10 Billion to the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in the 2024/2025 financial year budget which would be used to further the interest of the youth.
Ruto stated that the government would be allocating more resources for bursaries through the CDF and to the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
He further added that the government was focused on the creation of ICT Hubs to create more job openings for the country.
