Protestors Line up Coffins at CBD, Journalist injured as More Deaths are Reported in Today’s Protests: Protesters on Tuesday dropped over 10 caskets in the Nairobi Central Business District.
As they moved away from the police, they carried the coffins as they covered them with Kenyan Flags.
Some officers could be seen putting the caskets in a truck as the protesters returned them to the road.
Others went ahead to open the caskets as they clashed with the police who were throwing teargas to disperse the youth
Notably, At least three people have been reported shot and injured by a private citizen during the anti-finance bill protest in Mombasa.
According to Several people, The person opened fire at close range at the demonstrators after expressing ‘anger’ to the protestors who had brought business to a standstill along Nyerere Road.
Meanwhile, K24’s Joel Chacha has sustained injuries while reporting on protests in Nairobi CBD.
