According to Ruto, those with the footage, the pictures and other evidential materials similarly share them with his inbox.
The head of state has also vowed to take action on alleged police abductions and maltreatment of suspects arrested in anti-government demos.
Further, The Head of State has called on the families whose kin were still missing to bring forward their complaints for tracing.
He stated,”After this engagement, I would like, in a secretive way, to send me the details of what happened, I will take action because you don’t deserve what you went through,”
“The era of extrajudicial killings is not with us. It is something I will exercise my mind on as the police have a stipulated procedure on how they arrest people,” Ruto added.
Notably, President Ruto dismissed claims that over 200 people died on Tuesday, June 18, in Githurai 44.
He posed, “Can the family members of these 200 people come forward and say they lost loved ones? 200 people who went to protest and did not come back?”
“I will never say anything that is not factual about people losing lives,” he added.
