Mother-in-Law of Kware Suspected Serial Killer Recounts Daughter’s Disappearance:On Monday, DCI boss Mohamed Amin told the press that Collins Jomaisi Khalisia was arrested for the murders and admitted to killing 42 women.
He stated that upon interrogation, the suspected serial killer revealed that his wife, Imelda Judith Kamenya, was his first-ever victim in 2022
Imelda’s mother, appeared at the DCI headquarters yesterday evening where she recalled that she was in constant communication with her daughter over the years
However, in 2022, she went silent, was untraceable, and never returned messages sent to her via the online chat service, WhatsApp.
“She had gone quiet but sometimes she came online chatting with other people,” the mother recalled.
“In 2022, however, her account went silent and never responded to text messages. Since then, I never heard from her again. I have just heard today that she was murdered.”
Jomaisi, who lives 500 meters away from the Kware Dumpsite where nine bodies have been found, told the detectives that he carried out the macabre killings out of bitterness of failed businesses.
Amin stated, “Unfortunately, the suspect alleged that the first victim was his wife namely Imelda Judith who he strangled to death before dismembering her body and dumping it at the same site. From our interrogation, all his victims had been murdered in the same style.”
