Former CS Kuria Issues A Statement After Viral Meeting With Raila and Raila Odinga Junior: Former Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has lauded ODM leader Raila Odinga for saying yes to being part of the government of national unity and urging Kenyans to embrace dialogue.
Kuria stated,”This morning at Capitol Hill I held a meeting with my friend Rt Hon @RailaOdinga . We discussed various issues facing the nation at the moment. I thanked Baba for bending backwards (Yet again) to save the country from self destruction. We were unanimous that going forward we can not continue to prescribe Panadol where surgery is required,”
“The upcoming process of national dialogue MUST and Will culminate in deliberate structural reform for a lasting solution. We will work very, very closely in that endeavour as we continue to consult with other like minded leaders,” he added.
This comes after the Rail agreed to the new government formation that has four ODM members nominated to the Cabinet.
President Ruto nominated ODM’s two deputy party leaders (Hassan Joho and Wycliffe Oparanya), the party’s chairman John Mbadi and National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi to his Cabinet.
President William Ruto on his part cited that he wanted to form a government of national unity that will bring all Kenyans together.
