Standoff As MCSK Leaders Are Locked in A Room & Beaten Up: There was drama at MCSK offices in Nairobi on Sunday after new board members, who had come in to take leadership roles, were blocked from accessing the offices.
According to The new members, they were earlier elected as the new leaders at a general meeting and insisted that they possess documents showing their appointments.
However, As soon as they arrived at the premises, they were rounded up, locked in one room then beaten up by goons who had been hired by unknown people before being Kicked out.
Expressing their anger and frustrations outside MCSK offices, the new members questioned the intention of the management by intimidating them.
They cited a Ksh 56 million graft and poor governance among key reasons for being denied access, therefore calling upon Presenting Ruto to intervene.
One leader stated,”They came in with another goon, they pushed me to the ground and tore my pair of trousers,” lamented one of leaders. We are asking the DCI To step in and investigate the graft of Ksh56 million at MCSK,”
“Did they come to fight for our rights or to intimidate us yet we have legal documents from the government showing we are approved to be in office,” another questioned.
