Kaende Kaende- Mwangaza Now Says After Returning To Her Office: Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza on Thursday returned to her office.
In a message after returning to the office, Kawira said she will lead the county for 10 years without a break.
“Kabati kabati kaende kaende #MbeuyaNgai #KumiBilaBreak So help me God,” she wrote on her official Facebook page.
This comes just a day after the High Court stopped her impeachment, which was upheld by the Senate on Tuesday night.
Justice Bahati Mwamuye at the same time restrained Speaker of the Senate Amason Kingi from publishing in the Kenya Gazette Notice a declaration of a vacancy in the office of the Governor of Meru County.
“Merciful God,” the Meru governor posted on social media soon after Mwamuye delivered the ruling.
Mwangaza expressed joy at the Senate’s decision to probe charges against her through plenary.
