44 People In Critical Condition, Others Still Trapped in A multiple Vehicle Accident Along Eldoret- Nakuru Highway

44 People In Critical Condition: Rescue efforts are currently underway, To help passengers trapped in a horrific accident at the Twin Bridge area on the Eldoret-Nakuru highway.

The early morning crash on Saturday, August 24, involved multiple vehicles, including a Simba Bus, leaving scores injured and many feared trapped.

According to The Red Cross 44 people have been injured, with 14 rushed to Molo Sub County Hospital and 30 treated at the scene.

Traffic on the busy highway has come to a standstill, with authorities advising motorists to use alternative routes.

At the time of publishing this article, The cause of the crash had not yet been establishe.

Kuresoi North Sub County Police Commander Juddah Gathenge is also yet to provide an official statement, as rescue operations continue in the chaotic scene.
