Death Reported After Lorry Rams Into Trailer on Major Highway

Death Reported After Lorry Rams Into Trailer along the Thika-Garissa road on Thursday Morning.

According to Witnesses, The incident happened after a lorry rammed into a stationary trailer at the Kanyonyo Shopping Centre located at the border of Machakos and Kitui Counties.

Police confirmed that the lorry was enroute to Mwingi from Matuu, when the Unfortunate happened.

The lorry’s turn boy died on the spot;  His body has since been ferried to  Mbaku Funeral Home in Matuu.

The Kanyonyo Junction has been designated a black spot, as many accidents have been reoccurring here.

This comes a year after after an overloaded matatu veered off the road and rolled several times killing eleven people, along the same Road.
