Ministry of Agriculture is Hiring[NOVEMBER 2024]: Kenya’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) prioritizes agriculture to ensure 100% food and nutrition security for all.

The Agripreneur model will boost agricultural productivity, job creation and exports by transforming smallholder farming from subsistence to commercialization, with a focus on youth and digital innovation.

The agripreneurs will also assist in providing extension services to farmers in collaboration with county government.

Towards fulfilling the demand of creating a network of 20,000 youths agripreneurs, the national government in collaboration with county governments would like to engage at least 7 youths per ward, through recruitment process across 45 counties to support agricultural transformation.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Ages 18-35 years
2. Post-secondary certificate in Agriculture or related fields
3. Resident of in the ward of Agripreneur application
4. Digital literate & possession of a smartphone
5. Full-time commitment
6. Good communication skills – English, Swahili and local dialect
