Emotions Runs High, MP Cries Uncontrollably As DP Gachagua Kneels To Be Prayed For In A Church At Meru County
Emotions run high during a church service at MCK All Saints Church in Meru where embattled Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday knelt in prayer.
This ignited a moving and powerful response from the congregation including Juja MP George Koimburi who was visibly moved into tears.
This comes a day after UDA Acting Secretar General Omar confirmed that over 300 Members of parliament had signed the Impeachment Motion.
Omar Stated,” What we are seeing him currently doing is argue for the same old policies, of malice, division, hatred and ethnicity. I don’t think it is proper to have a deputy president who is a threat to the country’s unity.”
According to Impeachment Charges, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is said to have threatened President Ruto and banged the table against him in a meeting after Ruto denied Gachagua Ksh 8 Billion exit package.
Gachagua is also accused of allegedly diverting construction materials of a public road (Malindi-Kilifi Highway) to construction of a private road leading to a hotel linked to him. Other charges include Sponsoring goons to disrupt Gen Z demos.
