LIST of Shortlisted Candidates For SRC Chairperson, as Mengich is set to Retire on September 30, 2024, after serving the commission for six years now.

In the interest of the citizens of Kenya and in accordance with Article 249 of the Constitution of Kenya, the Commission will always defend its constitutional mandate to set and review remuneration and benefits for State Officers as provided by Article 230 of the Constitution.

In discharging its mandate, the Commission is guided by the principles set out in Article 230 (5) of the Constitution, which require, among others, that the Commission ensures: Fiscal sustainability of the total public compensation bill, Equity and fairness in the Public Service, Fiscal Responsibility.
