Full LIST of 291 Members of Parliament Supporting Impeachment Motion Against DP Gachagua.

Full LIST of 291: The lawmakers on Tuesday signed motion to support the impeachment Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

The motion was moved by Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse who outlined 11 grounds for Gachagua’s removal.

They include gross violation of the Constitution, misconduct, and violations of the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act, together with the Leadership and Integrity Act.

Mutuse stated, ” I hold no grudge, ill will, or malice against Gachagua.

However, other lawmakers such as Nyali MP Mohammed Ali have chose to stand with DP Gachagua, saying the motion is aimed at demonizing a great public Servants.

Nyali MP stated,” I have carefully read the charges in the impeachment motion against Deputy President @rigathi . In good faith, I do not support this cause of action and find it ill- intentioned seeking to demonize a Public Servant who has contributed immensely to this great country,”

“Let it be known that I, Mohamed Ali Mohamed, did not sign the impeachment motion against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua,” he wrote.
