Governor Nassir Presents Himself Before The DCI, Details Revealed

Governor Nassir Presents Himself and gets grilled by DCI in Mombasa in connection with alleged abduction, assault and sodomy of a blogger.

Nassir presented himself to the DCI at the Coast Regional Police headquarters where he was grilled for more than one hour.

“Let the DCI do their work, the truth will eventually come out,” said Nassir.

Nassir said he provided all the information the police wanted. He also said he is ready to bring his mother.

Mombasa blogger, John Bruce, was abducted on September 12. He was later assaulted and sodomised by people believed to be supporters of Nassir and county employs.

According to police sources they claim that more suspects are yet to be arrested and grilled.

“We’re still trailing many suspects. This is a matter that involves multiagency operatives.” He added
