EACC Shortlists 14 Candidates For CEO Position[LIST]
EACC Shortlists 14 Candidates For the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position, ahead of Twalib Mbarak’ s retirement in January 2025.
In a notice on Friday, EACC revealed that 172 candidates from all 47 counties applied for the position before the Commission narrowed the list to 14 finalists.
Those selected are Stephen Maisha Ngowa (Kitui), Doreen Nkatha Muthaura (Isiolo), Jackson Kaunda Mue (Machakos), Joseph Vincent Onyango (Nairobi) and Paul Ndemo Maina (Kisii), Victor Omari Okongo (Siaya), Peter Lokol Lomulen (Turkana), Obadiah Kipkoech Keitany (Baringo), John Tentemo Ole Moyaki (Kajiado) and David Kiplagat Ruto Too (Uasin Gishu), Abdi Mohamed Mohamud (Garissa), Justa Wawira Mwangi (Embu), Mohamed Abdul Mmaka (Lamu) and Waweru Karanja (Laikipia).
“The shortlisted candidates are invited to attend an interview at the Public Service Commission House, Harambee Avenue Nairobi, in the 1st-floor boardroom and dates and time specified below,” reads the EACC notice.
Ngowa, Muthaura, Mue, Onyango and Maina will be interviewed on November 19, 2024, between 9 am and 3:30 pm.
Interviews for Okongo, Lomuleni, Keitany, Moyaki and Too will be conducted on November 20 at the same times.
Mohamud, Mwangi, Mmaka and Karanja will be interviewed on November 21.
The shortlisted candidates are required to carry their national ID cards, academic and professional certificates, valid clearance certificates from the KRA, DCI, HELB, and CRB, as well as a self-declaration form from the EACC.
“Members of the public are invited to avail any credible information of interest relating to suitability of any of the shortlisted candidates, through sworn affidavit to the Chairperson via email to [email protected] or delivered to the to the Chairperson Dr. David Oginde on or before November 11,” said EACC.
