Css Joho, Mbadi Make Fresh Appointments: Through a gazzette notice on October 18, Mbadi announced the reappointment of Florence Chemtai to be a board member of the Kenya Trade Network Agency (KTNA) for a period of 3 years.
‘’The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning re-appoints— FLORENCE CHEMTAI to be a member of the Kenya Trade Network Agency Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 18th October, 2024. Dated the 17th October, 2024. JOHN MBADI, Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning,’’
He also appointed Lorian Mona Okongo to be a member of the Anti-Money Laundering Advisory Board for a period of three years.
” In exercise of the powers conferred by section 49 of the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning reappoints— LORIAN MONA OKONGO to be a member of the Anti-Money Laundering Advisory Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 18th October, 2024,’’
On his part, Joho appointed eight members to the Meru County Artisanal Committee
The eight include; Jackson Muthamia, Shadrack Nzaliu, Kirimi Mwiandi, John Kinyua Mugira, Damiano Kaaria Kamau, Purity Muthoni Kinyua, Daisy Maina and Ndumbi Mwenda Thaa.
“It is notified for the general information of the public that pursuant to section 94 (2) (a-f) of the Mining Act— Under paragraph (a)— Jackson Muthamia Under paragraph (b)— Shadrack Nzaliu Under paragraph (c)— Kirimi Mwiandi, John Kinyua Mugira, Damiano Kaaria Kamau, Under paragraph (d)— Purity Muthoni Kinyua Under paragraph (e)— Daisy Maina Under paragraph (f)— Ndumbi Mwenda Thaa shall be members of the Meru County Artisanal Mining Committee for a period of three (3) years with effect from the date of publication.” Joho announced.
