Several Families Trapped As Building Collapses At Kahawa West, Rescue Operations Currently Underway

Occupants of a multi-storey building in Kahawa West area, Nairobi are feared to have been trapped after its collapse on Sunday morning.

The Kenya Red Cross has confirmed the incident saying the Nairobi County Government said have dispatched response teams to the area.

Nairobi County Executive Built Environment Patrick Mbogo has noted that occupants residing in adjacent buildings will also be evacuated as a precaution procedure.
