Oscar Sudi Reveals New Date for Kindiki’s Swearing-in Ceremony
Oscar Sudi Reveals New Date for Kindiki’s Swearing-in, highlighting that plans are already underway to swear in Deputy President nominee Kithure Kindiki on Tuesday before 10:00 am.
According to the Kapseret Member of Parliament, Kindiki was considered for the second in command role because he was respectful to other leaders and served Kenyans equally.
Sudi stated,”Even our brother Kindiki whom we have given a job, even when he was a minister, he was not a minister for Tharaka Nithi but for the whole country. He has now been bestowed with the bigger role of being the Deputy President of Kenya and we will put the issue to rest. On Tuesday, by 10 am, he will have put the bible down,”
“We are not apologetic over that. We want someone who can lead the country with respect and should be able to respect all Kenyans,” he added
Sudi took the opportunity to advice Kindiki, to take a Countrywide tour after he resumes office underscoring that he is a leader of all Kenyans.
Sudi stated,” He should walk to all corners of the country while knowing that he is a Kenyan and a leader of all Kenyans, are we together? When it is time for leadership, we should put arrogance aside and lead in the right manner,’’
The lawmaker did not spare Gachagua during the address, disclosing that their decision as legislators to impeach him was not a political gimmick aimed at interfering or dividing mountain politics.
He stated, ‘’In Parliament, we never touched the mountain, we just ousted a selfish leader trying to box diligent and patriotic Kenyans into a tribal cocoon,’’
