Ruto Sends Message to Kenyans Amid Gachagua Impeachment Drama
Ruto Sends Message to Kenyans, pledging to unite the country and issued a clarion call asking Kenyans to come together for a common goal.
He was speaking at the Tobong’u Lore Turkana Festival, where he reiterated that he will not condone tribal, divisive and dismissive politics in the country.
“We do not want tribal, divisive and dismissive politics. We want to come together as the people of Kenya. I will go all out and do by best to unite the people of Kenya.”
The President pointed out his recent move of appointing a section of leaders from the opposition to form a broad-based government as an indication of his efforts to enhance national unity.
“I made the decision to form a government of national unity by appointing members of the opposition.
“By uniting as Kenyans, we will be able to direct our strengths and energies towards ensuring that we promote the economy, give rise to employment opportunities and get rid of the hunger crisis in the country. That way, we will move forward as a country,” he added.
