President Ruto Makes 8 New State Appointments[FULL LIST]

In a Gazette Notice dated November 15, 2024, President Ruto appointed named Anab Mohamed Gure as a member of the Nairobi Rivers Commission, effective immediately. Gure will serve for three years.

The head of state appointed Mark Kosgei Chesergon to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kerio Valley Development Authority effective immediately. Chesergon will serve for three years.

He also Appointed Wenwa Akinyi Oranga as the Chairperson of the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute. She he will serve for three years effective Immediately

Further, Ruto appointed Thuo Mathenge as the Chairperson of the Board of Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization. He will serve for three (3) years, with effect Immediately.

Mathenge will replace Peter Weru Kinyua whose appointment has been revoked

The president also appointed Teobald Mukundu Wambugu as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Tana Water Works Development Agency effective immediately.

Wambugu will replace James Gathaka Wanyaga whose appointment was revoked.

Notably, Nuh Nassir Abdi was named the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre. He will serve for three (3) years, effective immediately.

He will replace Victor Kioko Munyaka whose appointment has since been revoked

In addition Mark Lomunokol was named the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Sports Kenya. He will serve at the said office for three years, effective immediately
