President Ruto Fires Board Chair After 1 year in Office
President William Ruto Fires the Kenya Hydrologists Registration Board Chair Lawrence Thongoro Kuria.
Through a gazette notice, Ruto revoked Thongoro’s appointment to the board, despite having served just for months at the position.
He was appointed to the seat in September last year. Thongoro is among some of Kenya’s top water engineers having been certified by the Water Services Resources Management Unit in 2019.
