Ruto’s Stern Warning to CSs and PSs at State House Meeting
President William Ruto has issued a stern warning to senior government officials, including Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and other senior state officers, against negligence of duties.
He was Speaking during the signing of ministerial performance contracts at State House in Nairobi on Tuesday, November 19, where he highlighted that every Cabinet Secretary would receive a performance scorecard at the end of each financial year.
President Ruto further directed all the ministries to heighten their efficiency, responsiveness, and integrity both collectively and individually to delivery of services to every Kenyan.
Notably, The head of state revealed that the government will soon table a Public Service Performance Management Bill in parliament to track efficiency by government officials.
The Bill will showcase accountability and ensure the highest standards of service delivery at all state levels.
