President Ruto To Address Nation and Parliament Tomorrow Amid Planned Protests

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has confirmed tomorrow’s State of the Nation Address by President William Ruto in Parliament.

In a communication to the lawmakers, Wetang’ula said the President will address the nation and the House in the afternoon.

“You should as members be advised by the Office of the Clerk on the arrangements that have been put in place, there will be a little inconvenience,” he said.

“Come with your drivers, and be dropped at the gate and let them go on to park at Bunge Towers. As you know they is enough parking space to accommodate all of us,”

“If there are any members of staff who pack there, we advise them tomorrow to use the Comesa Grounds at the KICC to give way to lawmakers,”

“Be here punctually; it will be a joint sitting, and some sits on my left on the front row will be for the leadership of the Senate.”

“I need not emphasise, you will hear His Excellency in absolute silence and there after you will be given an opportunity from Monday afternoon to debate,”
