County Attorney Resigns, Accuses Governor of Frustration
Machakos County Attorney, Advocate James Kathili resigns from the Machakos County Government citing a difficult and frustrating working experience with the Sitting Governor.
One of the challenges Kathili faced during his tenure was the recent corruption allegations raised by the Senate.
He was recently accused of land grabbing and contributing to the loss of cases in court. Kathili firmly rejected these accusations, stating that he had always carried out his duties diligently and ethically.
He went on to explain that he sought an audience with Governor Wavinya Ndeti in vain. Additionally, Kathili claimed that he was sometimes locked out of cabinet meetings by junior officers, leading to accusations of neglecting his duties.
