County Executives Resign As Governor Reshuffles Cabinet[LIST]
Two county executives in Nandi have handed in their resignation just days after an MCAs ad hoc committee had recommended their removal along with all other executives.
Governor Stephen Sang who announced their resignation, immediately nominated three other individuals for approval as executives.
The two executives who resigned are Ruth Koech, who has been executive for health, and Dorice Rono, who was serving as roads executive.
The governor therefore appointed his deputy, Dr Yulita Mitei as Acting health executive as He handed In the nomination of viola Cherotich Chemogos to be vetted by the county assembly for appointment as new executive for health.
Sang also nominated Reney Jepkosgei Kirwa to be vetted for appointment for executive for education while Robert Kipchirchir Limo was nominated to be new executive for Roads.
The governor further reshuffled some of his other executives. Alfred Lagat has been re-assigned to serve in the lands and environment office, Philemon Bureti has been moved to trade while Rose Angira has been transferred to sports.
Scholastica Tuwei has been moved to Gender and Culture while Isiah Keter has been retained in the Public Service docket.
Chief officer Beatrice Chemurgor has been transferred to education while Chief officer Benjamin Kiprotich has been transferred to Gender and Culture.
