Kenya Met Warns of Isolated Heavy Rainfall and Storms in Different Parts of The Country[LIST]
Nairobi and its neighbouring regions should prepare for light to moderate rainfall over the next 24 hours, as announced by the Kenya Meteorological Department.
The weatherman predicted consistent rainfall across most parts of Nairobi Metropolis from 9 am to Saturday 9 am. However, some areas may experience heavier downpours accompanied by thunderstorms.
The weatherman also projected that rainfall will persist across various parts of the country, including the Highlands both East and West of the Rift Valley, Nairobi, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, South-Eastern Lowlands, and Coastal regions. Northwestern and Northeastern Kenya are also expected to experience showers.
Kenya Met has cautioned that certain areas may record rainfall exceeding 20mm within 24 hours, which could lead to localized flooding.
Residents are advised to stay alert and take precautions, particularly in areas prone to flooding or where heavy rainfall is anticipated.
