2 Gov’t Officials Fired by CS Mbadi Re-employed Immediately
Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi revoked the appointment of two board members of the Kenya Deposits Insurance Corporation(KDIC)
Through a Gazette notice, Mbadi revoked the appointment of James Agembe Akali to the board membership of KDIC just 21 months in office.
Additionally, Mbadi also revoked the appointment of Melissa Ngania to the same board who was also appointed at the same time.
He therefore, appointed Paul Orem and Anne Kamais Lokidor to the same positions
Ngania and Agembe have however landed fresh state appointments.
Ngania was appointed as a board member of the Financial Inclusion Fund (the parent agency managing the Hustler fund) for 14 months.
Agembe was handpicked to serve as a board member for Nairobi International Financial Centre for 14 months
