Equity Bank Managing Director Anthony Kituuka Resigns

Equity Bank Uganda Limited has announced the resignation of its Managing Director, Anthony Kituuka, with effect November 28, 2024.

The Board of Directors accepted his resignation. Kituuka is however, expected to serve a notice period to allow the transition and enable the Board to recruit a successor.

Mr. Kituuka leaves Equity after a decade-long service.He joined the institution in 2014 and served as Executive Director from 2016 before his promotion to Managing Director in November 2022

Reflecting on his time at the bank, Mr. Kituuka expressed pride in his contribution to Equity’s success.

Equity Bank Uganda’s Chairman, Mark Ocitti, commended Mr. Kituuka’s dedication to the institution.
