President Ruto Gazettes 13 Names for New Government Jobs[LIST]
President William Ruto has gazetted the appointment of 13 state officers who he nominated to government jobs last month.
Through a Special Gazette Notice, the appointees should assume their positions immediately following Parliamentary approval.
The 13 officers gazetted include the chairperson and board members of the Independent Police Oversight Authority(IPOA) where former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) chairperson Issack Hassan was appointed chairperson.
Annette Mudola Mbogoh, Kenwilliams Nyakomitah, Ann Wanjiku Mwangi, Boniface Kipkemoi Samati, Jackline Lukalo Mwenesi, John Muchiri Nyaga and Micah Onyiego Nyakego have all been gazetted as members of IPOA.
The President also gazetted the appointment of the Chairperson and Members of the Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ), where Charles Orinda Dulo is set to take over the reins.
Former Starehe Member of Parliament and musician Charles Njagua Kanyi and Dorothy Jemator Kimengech have been appointed to the CAJ to serve as members.
Consequently, the President has also gazetted the appointment of the National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC) chairperson, Rehema Dida Jaldesa.
Additionally, Michael Mbithuka Nzomo has been gazetted as a member of the NGEC.
