Deputy President Kithure Kindiki Breaks Silence on Uhuru- Ruto Surprise Meeting
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has lauded Monday’s meeting between President William Ruto and his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to the deputy president, the reconciliation between the two leaders is good for the country’s development.
Kindiki outlined the national unity and stability that comes with it underscoring that the country can now focus on addressing key priorities.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed matters of national and regional importance and underscored the importance of cultivating a nationalistic, patriotic, and harmonious working relationship among all Kenyans and stakeholders.
Among things discussed was reconstitution of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), where they called immediate resolution of the court matters to facilitate appointment of commissioners
