Sonko Finally Breaks Silence After High Court Overturned His Acquittal
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is set to challenge the High Court decision that overturned his acquittal in a Ksh.20 million graft case.
On December 21, 2022, Justice Douglas Ogoti, Acquiited Sonko and his co-accused, businessman Antony Ombok, of 13 charges over lack of evidence.
High Court Judge Nixon Sifuna, in his ruling on Wednesday, however directed that the matter be retried by another Magistrate.
