County Commissioner Gives Police A shoot-to-kill Order Days After They Were Recalled Back To Work
Security agencies in Nyakach have been given a shoot-to-kill order because of rising insecurity in the area.
While announcing the directive, Nyakach Deputy County Commissioner Job Adunda, highlighted that incessant cattle rustling has escalated, leading to the loss of life.
One person was attacked at his house in Ngege village on Thursday and killed by suspected rustlers following his efforts to weed out the vice by reporting suspected offenders to the authorities
This follows arrest of four robbery suspects were apprehended in Kisumu East during an operation by officers who recovered items of unknown value.
The four were detained at the Kasagam Police Station after they were apprehended on Friday night.
They were arrested during a sting operation organized by a multi-agency unit, where an assortment of items, including electronics, household items, and even shoes, were recovered in two hideouts in Obunga and Nyamasaria estates.
