National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula’s Mother Confirmed Dead
The head of state, William Ruto has led leaders in mourning National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula’s mother. Mama Anne Nanyama passed on Friday.
More leaders have sent their tributes, Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka also eulogised Nanyama as a “remarkable community mobiliser and mentor.”
Kanduyi MP John Makali stated,”Speaker Moses Wetangula, Timothy Wanyonyi MP Westlands, and the entire Wetang’ula family, I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your beloved mother, Khukhu Anne Nanyama Wetang’ula. The strong moral foundation she instilled in her family has produced leaders who continue to serve our country with distinction. I share in your grief during this difficult time.”
