MP Junet Mohamed Reacts After Ruto Nominates Uhuru Allies to Gov’t
Minority Leader, Junet Mohamed, has lauded the head of state for his recent move to nominate close allies of former President Uhuru Kenyatta to key government positions.
Junet was Speaking during the launch of the Junet Mohamed Football Tournament in Suna East, Migori County, where he highlighted that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) fully supported the president’s move.
According to Junet, Ruto’s recent decision to make changes within the Cabinet was a sign of inclusivity and diversity that the Kenyan people need.
The vocal legislator further called on Kenyans to embrace unity and exercise patriotism towards their nation adding that it was the only way the country could progress.
This comes days after Ruto nominated William Kabogo, Lee Kinyanjui, and Mutahi Kagwe to cabinet secretary positions for Information Communication and Technology, Trade, and Agriculture, respectively.
The Head of State also nominated Ndiritu Muriithi as Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) chairperson while Ababu Namwamba was nominated as Permanent Representative of Kenya to the United Nations Environment Programme.
